About
Craig is a native of Sarnia, Ontario. Ottawa has been his home since 2000. Craig married in 2005 and is the proud father of Carter born April 2009 and Cooper born May 2010. Craig has worked as a soigneur for the Canadian Cycling Association since 1998 at numerous national and international events. Most recently Craig was a soigneur for the Canadian Cycling team at the Olympic Games in RIO. Craig has covered 11 World Championships in Road, MTB, and Track cycling as a Soigneur. Craig has also competed for Canada at numerous international events and World Championships as a tandem pilot. He has several Canadian Champion titles to his name and internationally placed as high as 5th in the Kilo! An event he held the Canadian Record for 2yrs.

This crest was derived from the coat of arms of Winkel,NH - the birthplace of Craig’s father Jan. To leSoigneur, this represents pride, courage, strength, stamina, work ethic, and sense of adventure. Based on the French word 'soigne', meaning to treat or to care for, a soigneur is typically a member of a professional cycling team committed to ensuring the athletes receive daily massages and treatments for injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Additionally, the soigneur is responsible for the general health and well-being of the team and does everything from making travel arrangements to arranging post-race nutrition to ease tired bodies. Le Soigneur provides Registered Massage Therapy for a wide variety of needs and conditions.
